How Handyland and Daleenda collect, use and protect personal data on the Zelixy website and inside the product.
How personal data is handled on this website and in the Zelixy system: Handyland in Heidelberg is your contracting partner and point of contact, Daleenda builds and operates the platform. Short, because we collect little and sell none of it.
Data controller
Controller for this website and for the customer relationship is Handyland — Nawfal Saleh Hadi Al-Safi, Hertzstraße 1, 69126 Heidelberg, Germany. Write to datenschutz@zelixy.de with anything about this notice or your data. Zelixy itself is developed and operated by Daleenda For IT Developments, 7 El Geish Road, Ismailia 41511, Egypt, which processes data on Handyland's behalf under a data-processing agreement and holds the contract for the certified cloud TSE with fiskaly on the restaurants' behalf. Handyland is your point of contact for everything in this notice.
Data we collect on this website
From browsing, very little: there is no account to create, and your cookie choice, language and theme stay in your browser. Beyond that, what we hold is what you send us through the demo form: restaurant name, your name, phone, email, town, the modules you are interested in, whether you use delivery platforms, an optional message and, if you attach one, your current menu. The site is served by Firebase Hosting, a Google service, whose server logs record the IP address of each request; Google retains those logs for a few months for security and abuse prevention.
Data processed inside Zelixy
When a restaurant uses Zelixy, guest, staff and business data are processed on its behalf: menu and prices, orders and payments, reservations and guest profiles, staff records and working hours, messages and reviews. The restaurant is the controller. Handyland is its processor under a data-processing agreement (AVV), and Daleenda is Handyland's sub-processor for development, operation and the TSE. The data is hosted in the European Union and can be exported by the restaurant at any time.
Why we process it and on what basis
To answer a demo request and arrange the call (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps before a contract); to run the website and keep it secure (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f)); and to meet legal obligations such as tax and accounting records (Article 6(1)(c)).
International transfers
Where data leaves the European Union, for example to Daleenda's development and support team in Egypt, it is protected by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the technical measures described in the data-processing agreement between Handyland and Daleenda. Zelixy application data itself is hosted in the Union.
How long we keep it
Demo requests: twelve months after the last contact, or for the life of the customer relationship. Server logs: a few months, held by the hosting provider. Contract and invoice data: the statutory retention periods, ten years in Germany.
Your rights
Access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting what was done before. Write to datenschutz@zelixy.de; we answer within one month.
Complaints
If our answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to a data protection supervisory authority. In the European Union, that is the authority for the country you live or work in; for Germany, the authority of the state in which you live or in which Handyland is established, Baden-Württemberg.
Changes to this policy
This page states the date it was last updated. Where a change affects how your data is used rather than how the policy is worded, we say so plainly and announce it to customers by email.
